Blood and Coffee. Cowboys and Zombies. Welcome to the Last Diner at the End of the World. The coffee’s hot and the ghoulish army of the undead isn’t due for a few more minutes. Take a load off, fill your cup and listen to the last story of how the world ends. Not with a whimper, nor a cry, but with the roar of white tigers and the blazing neon of the Vegas strip. Living Dead at Zigfreidt & Roy is back and better than ever! Now with the inclusion of FOUR… count em’… FOUR EXTRA STORIES!!! Including:
The last round up at the end of the world, when one tough ol’ hombre takes on the legions of the Living Dead in Living Dead at Zigfreidt & Roy…
The shambling depravity and heartless greed of the office pirate in His Dark Flag…
Jack Wallen, (most excellent author of Shero, the I Zombie series, and the Fringe Killer books) invited me over for a little tête-à-tête that resulted in some lively discussion of fiction, fallacy and fallopian tubes (OK, maybe not fallopian tubes, but it was a natural alliterative progression. Cut me some slack!)
And get yourself on over to Smashwords to pick up a free copy of the Axel Howerton sampler, featuring Living Dead at Zigfreidt & Roy, plus four more weird little gems. All that twinkle and shine, baby! Vegas dead! Office pirates! Los Chupacabras! Galactic Empire plumbing problems! Henry Rollins gets pissed!
How can you turn down that much bizzaro for zero dollars? You can’t do it.
“Do not yield to the pressures of Corporate culture, who say we need to endlessly replicate anything even moderately successful. Go your own way, create your own reality. Leave off trying to be just like Twilight or Harry Potter or James Patterson. Stop dreaming of being Stephen King. There is already a Stephen King and part of him wishes he could be you, with all the freedom and opportunity you hold so gently in your hand.”
