Career Guide To Your Job In Hell

Here it is! The cover art to A Career Guide To Your Job In Hell which features my story “Hum” along with offerings from Scott S. Phillips (Tales of Misery & Imagination), Bob Vardeman, the other Scott Phillips (The Ice Harvest), Nathan Long, Victor Milan, John Jos Miller and more! Not much news as to when this will be available, but I would imagine either just before or just after the holiday season. I will update this post when I have a concrete ETA from the Vard-man… But here is the GLORIOUS cover art from the expert hands of Mr. Keith Rainville of www.frompartsunknown.com

And there she is gone,
To the sweet hereafter
The slumbering peace of a last goodbye
While one stands alone
Lost in the memories
Of the old woman who guarded his Life
Broken, and torn
A childhood is left behind
With the four white roses on her grave

Apparently. I ran umpteen selections from Hot Sinatra, a whole raft of short stories and a few articles and reviews through this magic box of theirs… Gibson and Cory Doctorow came up over and over and over, although a few Pahlaniuks, Joyces and Vonneguts littered the results. I also ended up with one result each for Agatha Christie, Rudyard Kipling and Robert Louis Stevenson. Go figure.

I’m just not sure whether that puts me in good company, or suggests rampant Multiple Personality Disorder.
