Her Literary Majesty, Red Tash published this here Christmas book with the sole intention of giving it away free and gratis to liven up y’all’s holidays. Amazon made her set a price, so we (the authors, of which I am one) are donating all monies to charity (Hurricane Sandy relief).

I hereby decree this post “most bodacious.”
Great Idea.
Super cool.
You want a copy?
I considered it but right now I am overwhelmed. I am not sure how soon I would get to it but if you want to send it to me anyhow I will take a copy.
email me at axelhow@gmail.com with your file preference and I will get one to you for whenever you have the time to spare.
Very generous idea. Obviously this was one of those timely releases, but in the future, if you want to get it free on Amazon (without having to do Kindle Select, or whatever it’s called), it’s kind of a process, but not impossible. I’m guessing you already know this, but for any of your other readers/writers:
1- Post it for free on Smashwords
2- Have Smashwords distribute it to Barnes and Noble (generally takes a couple weeks, but it will be free, something you can’t do on your own at B&N, either)
3- Post it at Amazon for the .99.
4- Under the “Product Details” on the Amazon page is a link to “tell us about a lower price.”
5- Have everyone you know do this. Might take a few weeks, but it worked for me, and it will be free forever.
But again, very kind of you “horrific” people to donate proceeds.
How’s the Lebowski book coming along?
