Today is a spare day for me, #Creepfest wise. I learned my lesson from Coffin Hop, not to spread myself too thin. Not only is the usual meshugge day-to-day stuff still waiting to be taken care of, but it’s Christmas for Christ’s sake! I have an endless list of crap to take care of. Toys to buy. Trees to water. Decapitated elves to… I mean… hot cocoa to drink!
So today, I say unto thee:
Check out The Manicheans, where Johanna K. Pitcairn has an interview with fellow Creeper and Author of La Nuit du la Chat Noir, Nora B. Peevey and a contest to win Deadlines: An Anthology of Horror and Dark Fiction from Comet Press!
And…
Do. Not. Miss. Jessica McHugh (we just call her “The McHugh” round these parts) has an amazing bit of Flash Fic called The D-Word on display at her site for #Creepfest Day 2. She is also offering up a copy of her tremendous book Danny Marble & the Application for Non-Scary Things… just for commenting! DO IT. DO IT NOW.
Then go check out the rest of the Creepers and fill your sleepless holiday nights with visions of terror! 12 Days of #Creepfest
Now hear this:
And don’t forget to leave your nasty pickle comments to win yesterday’s Pickle Party from RedTash
Nice post 🙂
🙂
Amen, brother. I’m just perusing other friends who are participating in this one. I was so glad to have met you (and actually the others you mention in this post as well) via the Coffin Hop, but it was exhausting (and I wasn’t even the main host).
Hope life is treating you well. And thanks for the Otis.

I adore both the JKP and the McHugh. They are the bomb-diggity, and Danny Marble sounds thrilling, no kidding. I would be happy to Testify! No subpoena required.
Email me or FB me or whatever about your pickle votes…hopefully I can get this baby in the mail today! I wanna see a pic of some lucky winner with his/her pickle by Christmas, or someone’s going to DIE.
Otis is for everyone, all the time. Free. Like the air we breathe, and twice as necessary for human sustenance.
Well they ARE both highly adorable, and wickedly talented.
Hi Axel, Love your post, made me smile. Merry Christmas to you too.
